This museum attraction houses an extensive collection of both European and American art that spans from the Renaissance all the way up to the 20th century. Make plans to stay all afternoon to see it all at a relaxing, enjoyable pace.

Roger Williams Park is often referred to as "the Jewel of Providence" for good reason. This 430-acre park contains a zoo, landscaped grounds, gardens, a carousel and historic buildings. There are also plenty of scenic walking and recreation trails that offer a chance to take in the park's many amenities in a relaxed way.

With the pressures of deadlines and work and bills and everyday life, sometimes you both feel like escaping it all. While you may not be able to escape as far away as you would like, maybe a romantic date on the New England Fast Ferry will create a special memory for the two of you. This ferry covers the area from Providence to Newport and back. Rides are between an hour and an hour and a half, so you can make a little getaway before you both have to come back to reality!
