But when you step into the Rhode Island School of Design Museum, prepare to be amazed at the depth and breadth of the work that is displayed here. Learn about art that spans ancient Roman sculpture all the way up to modern graphic design. Some of the many highlights and attractions include the 19th century French galleries that feature the work of Matisse, Rodin and Monet, just to name a few. You'll also be captivated by the beautiful pieces that are part of the Greek and Roman galleries that include sculptures and frescoes. By the time you experience all 45 galleries, you'll be an art expert!

Every step you take on the Providence Ghost Tour echoes with a touch of haunted drama. This walking tour explores the East Side of Providence which is the most historic part of the city. Walk by lantern through these dark streets as you hear the expert guide tell you of all of the shadowy goings-on of spirits of years past that still manage to make their presence known in one eerie way or another. This popular tour is available from May until November. Make sure to bring your camera...and someone to hold on to!

For a completely different biking or walking experience, make your way to Swan Point Cemetery. This historic site features beautiful plants and monuments. Walking or slow biking on the trail is allowed. Also, out of respect for the families who have loved ones buried here, proper attire is requested.
