The Don Harrington Discovery Center is more than just a museum. It's an interactive playground where kids (and adults) can engage in various exhibits. This attraction features several specialized areas for the younger visitors, including a new preschoolers gallery that is designed exclusively for children 6 years old and younger. Despite the fact that wineries in California have gotten much attention, the first winery was actually established in Texas back in 1662. The state has quietly been producing wine ever since, and is now the fifth largest wine-producing state in the U.S. Sip a glass of Texas wine, and be pleasantly surprised.

With big talents, big shows and a big schedule of upcoming shows, there's obviously nothing little about the Amarillo Little Theatre. The venue is a constant center of activity, and the various staff members and volunteers work hard, along with the directors, technicians and actors to put on the best show possible. Some of the highlights of the upcoming season include La Cage Aux Folles, Footloose, Chicago and Of Mice and Men. So if you're looking for some fresh entertainment with a Broadway flavor, look no further than the Amarillo Little Theatre for big-time fun.

Visiting Kwahadi is much more than just a history lesson. The whole family will be drawn into the story of how these first inhabitants of our country were resourceful and creative. See how they survived the North Texas elements to create beautiful art. An extension of that creativity is their custom of dancing as celebration and spiritual homage. Take in the bronze artwork on display by such renowned artists as Thomas E. Mails and Tom Knapp. The Kwahadi Dancers are officially Venture Crew 9 and perform most Friday and Saturday nights.
