An architectural gem on the city's bayfront, The Art Center of Corpus Christi is home to 11 arts organizations, and showcases works from local and area artists in rotating exhibitions. The 14,400-square-foot building houses a main gallery and four studios, including a clay studio that encourages artists to complete works-in-progress in front of visitors. The Art Center also offers art classes, to express your own creativity in photos, watercolors, oils, sculpture or other media. Workshops, outreach projects and other events to promote the arts to the public are an integral part of the Art Center of Corpus Christi as well.  

Experience what is perhaps the most curious, peculiar, yet extraordinarily fantastic festive moment ever imagined, Día de los Muertos, also known as the Day of the Dead Street Festival, celebrating the lives we knew and miss and yet joyfully inviting all to pay respects to those who passed on and celebrate the life that makes and solidifies our cherished memories. You’ll find Día de Los Muertos themed artworks, Wall and Altars of Remembrance, craft items, jewelry, fun children’s activities, challenging games, and plenty of food as the festival takes over several blocks of Downtown. This rich Mexican tradition has multiple stages of live entertainment, traditional Mexican cultural performances, and local bands.

Aurora Arts Theatre opened its doors in 2010 with a commitment to providing the community with a theatrical venue where the elements of theatre can be enjoyed, practiced, learned, and shared. Their goal is to provide live theatre entertainment for the community and patrons alike, maintaining a professional environment and becoming a new staple in the growing circle of arts in the Corpus Christi area. With the talents and efforts of the community, they bring a variety of quality theatre to be explored and experienced by the growing community.

Glimpse into the past at the Fulton Mansion, the home, once owned by the Fulton family in the late 1800s, has been restored to its original beauty. As you walk through the various rooms, you'll see how the family lived and marvel at one of the first homes in the area to have the modern conveniences they had, like indoor plumbing and central gas lighting. The gardens are also a must-see, with their stunning beauty and rich history. It's truly a fascinating experience to step back in time and explore this historic site.
