Portland Windfest will blow you away with fun over classic favorites like Noahs Way Exotic Petting Zoo, Antique Tractor Show, Mechanical Bull Ride, Pony Rides, Youth Golf Tournament, Horseshoe Tournaments, Chili, Rib, Brisket, and Kid’s Pizza Cook-off, the All Dog Costume Parade, Arts and Crafts, Food Booths, Parade and Carnival.

Witness the artwork by local students, faculty, and regional and national artists at Cain Art Gallery at Ayers campus of Del Mar College, where you will be encouraged to appreciate and understand art in a new and proficient way by exploring its role in society through direct engagement with original works of art displayed in a dignified, distinguished, and noble setting. Located on the first floor of the Art Department, the Cain Art Gallery intends to appeal to a wide audience stimulating and educating the student artist while providing a source of cultural enrichment for Del Mar College students and the wider community.

Padre Island National Seashore, the longest undeveloped stretch of a barrier island in the world, has more than 133,000 acres of protected, natural beaches, white dunes, thriving grassland, saltwater marshes, and a host of untouched wildlife. Experience the island in its natural state with primitive camping, which is allowed in any spot along the entire length of the beach. Year-round inhabitants include coyotes, white-tail deer, peregrine falcons, kangaroo rats, and jackrabbits.
