One of the oldest and still the biggest amusement park in the state, Six Flags Over Texas delivers just your dose of adrenaline. If you're a roller coaster junkie, you'll find plenty to ride all day. The amusement park opened in 1961, is located in Arlington, about 15 miles west of Dallas and boasts 13 coasters and the tallest roller coaster in the state of Texas.
