The Texas Trees Foundation aims to create a sustainable and green future for North Texas. They use research-based plans to educate and engage the public about the social, economic, environmental, and health benefits of trees and urban forestry, ultimately improving the region's quality. It is a community comprised of beautiful, well-maintained parks, shady tree-lined streets and boulevards, hiking, biking, and nature trails, and other outdoor amenities which combine to form a living and working environment that enhances the value of its commercial areas and its neighborhoods, and nurtures the health, safety, and quality of life of all its citizens; a community in which its citizens actively participate in building and sustaining its urban forest.

With two stages and two full days of traditional and progressive Bluegrass, as well as Americana and country sounds, there's something for everyone. Visit the Mary Kay Museum, the fascinating place that honors the life and legacy of Mary Kay Ash, one of America's most successful businesswomen. You can tour the lobby and the office Mary Kay uses, located on the 13th floor. Interestingly, 13 was Mary Kay's lucky number; she founded the company on Friday, the 13th. The museum is an excellent opportunity to learn about Mary Kay's innovative business ideas and accomplishments. You can even catch a motivational speech by Mary Kay Ash in the theater. The Keepers of the Dream Independent National Sales Director Hall of Honor is also a must-see, as it pays tribute to the top achievers in the independent sales force who continue to spread Mary Kay's dream around the globe.
