The Park is used to educate and celebrate the history, support local artists, provide recreational activities, and serve as a venue for events for adults and families year-round.

Walk around the 7.5 acres of lush tropical greenery and native plants at Texas Discovery Gardens. You will want to attend the Butterfly House, where you can see hundreds of free-flying butterflies worldwide. The Gardens is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating children and adults on how to sustain the natural world. They aim to provide a safe and natural oasis for the Dallas community and hope every visitor leaves with the knowledge and desire to emulate the sustainable practices at home.
