Fiesta Latinoamericana is a free family cultural celebration. Dallas’ largest Latino cultural festival featuring two stages of music and dance, Children’s Discovery Center, Zona Deportiva a Parade of Nations and more.
Raise a bottle of grog, wipe your matted beard on your sleeve and toast your knight at the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. This attraction will make you feel like royalty with its banquet-style theater in the round, and you can tour the grounds where period-costumed actors create a Medieval village experience.
The House of Blues in Dallas delivers eclectic and legendary performances in the historic White Swan Building at the city's West End. Though part of a national chain, the House of Blues in Dallas celebrates the uniqueness of the "Big D" and features original works of art such as Alan Sainte James Boudrot's "A Dream Come True" and S. Guion's painting of Robert Johnson. Recent notables include Social Distortion, Crowded House, Blue October, Demitri Martin and George Clinton. For an ultimate night out where great food sets the stage for amazing live concerts, from VIP experiences with the world's best artists to their world-famous Gospel Brunch on Sundays, House of Blues is truly where music and food feed the soul. The venue opened in 2007 and accommodates up to 1625 people for live shows while the dining room seats 400 and features southern favorites like gumbo, jambalaya, catfish and ribs. Its building dates back to the 1920s, when it housed a White Swan Coffee processing plant.
What goes up, must come down. And when you go up at Zero Gravity, expect to come down out of the sky at top speeds. With five rides named The Texas Blastoff, Nothin' But Net and The Skyscraper, you know you're in for one wild ride at this attraction. This collection of gravity-defying rides has got your name on it. Other death-defying thrill rides include The Skycoaster sending you soaring through the air at 60 mph then lingering at 100 feet and dropping right down as your stomach follows close behind. The Texas Blastoff resembles a giant slingshot with you in it and rocketing 150 feet up in the air at 70 mph then coming back down in a twisting, topsy-turvy free fall. Nothin' But Net gives you a chance to experience dropping from a 16-story tower, then freefalling into a safety net with (gulp!) no bungee, no cords and no harness. The Skyscraper is where you'll sit down and relax in a 165-foot propeller−until takeoff, at which point you'll get whipped around until you reach Four Gs.
