Dallas Children's Theater, headquartered in the Rosewood Center for Family Arts, is a regional powerhouse training ground for young performers. The theater was rated as one of the top 5 theaters in the nation by Time magazine. Each year, they feature 11 main stage productions that showcase the talented youth of the Dallas area. In addition to education and outreach programs, the theather also supports a national touring company. From its inception in 1984, the Dallas Children's Theater has focused on collaboration - drawing local talent from artists, designers, playwrights and educators.
