With heavy hearts of all people from around the world, you are both challenged and inspired to visit the El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center, located in Downtown El Paso, a memorial to the millions of people brutally murdered by the Nazi Regime from 1933 to 1945. Here visitors will learn from the past in order to combat prejudice and intolerance through education, outreach and cultural activities. Learn about the Holocaust through its permanent exhibit featuring multi-media galleries including the moving Gallery of El Paso Holocaust Survivors. All of the materials are presented in both English and Spanish while the Museum offers year-round programming to supplement its lessons. While there is no charge for admission, donations by visitors are always welcome. Shalom!
The majestic mountains surrounding El Paso have earned a six-week festival, known as "Celebration of our Mountains." Events usually begin in October and include bird watching, nature hikes and drives, mountain biking and bat watches. There's even a "Coffee, hot chocolate, muffins, and the tramway" event.
Enjoy an elegant evening on a romantic date with that special someone at Cafe Central, winner of multiple Wine Spectator awards and the toast of the town of El Paso. The innovative flavors will put you in the mood for romance and great memories.
