The trail is marked by bronze plaques describing the honor bestowed on the hall of fame. The Texas Trail of Fame has placed more than 250 giant bronze stars on the sidewalks of the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. In October, they will add nine more stars to the trail. The nine new additions represent the heritage, traditions, values, and Western way of life.
