Theatre Southwest continues its passion for performance with six productions, a Festival of Originals, and monthly workshops. The entertainment venue showcases seasoned performers and break-out talent. As the theater continues to evolve and grow, it looks to lead Houston into a new era of breathtaking performances and live entertainment. All this creativity and activity takes a lot of work and a good amount of creative people. Cast your gaze into the wild-blue-yonder and encounter the Wings Over Houston Airshow, featuring the internationally famous and awe-inspiring US Navy Blue Angels. This event provides more than five hours of thrilling aerial shows from some of the greatest military and civilian pilots. Ranked as one of the top airshows in the country, it also offers ground attractions, such as simulators, ride-and-drive opportunities, and nearly 100 static aircraft to view. There’s even a play area for kids featuring a rock-climbing wall, inflatable slides and obstacles, carnival-style games, rides, and the NASA Driven to Explore Exhibit.

Beat the heat at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, where you can enjoy fun-filled, pulse-pounding, and exhilarating thrill rides for all ages. Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be in the middle of a tornado? Take on the Tornado, one of the most popular attractions, which shoots riders down a 132-foot-long tunnel and blasts them into a giant funnel. Check out the Stingray Racer, where six waterslide lanes stand five stories tall, propelling riders down a twisting and turning track. The  Thunder Run, where the inline tube slide picks up speed at every twist and turn, and the many other attractions for the entire family.
