Revisit the ’80s at Hungry Like the Wolf, Houston’s only ’80s-themed diner and bar, where you can immerse yourself in the ’80s-themed menu, cocktails, vibes, ambiance, and decor. As you stroll through the diner, you’ll find 80’s nostalgia and memorabilia from yearbook walls to high school lockers, glitter tables, wicked carpet, and the spinning Rubik’s cube disco wall.

Capture a moment in time at the Houston Center for Photography, where you'll find evolving exhibits by emerging and established photographers and plenty of spur-of-the-moment workshops to brush up on your photography skills. As a small visual artists organization, their gallery features some of the finest works of contemporary photography. They also offer over 300 photography classes and workshops year-round. Varying in competency levels, these classes are all taught by esteemed photographers and lecturers, including some of the masters of the medium.

Theatre Southwest continues its passion for performance with six productions, a Festival of Originals, and monthly workshops. The entertainment venue showcases seasoned performers and break-out talent. As the theater continues to evolve and grow, it looks to lead Houston into a new era of breathtaking performances and live entertainment. All this creativity and activity takes a lot of work and a good amount of creative people. Beat the heat at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, where you can enjoy fun-filled, pulse-pounding, and exhilarating thrill rides for all ages. Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be in the middle of a tornado? Take on the Tornado, one of the most popular attractions, which shoots riders down a 132-foot-long tunnel and blasts them into a giant funnel. Check out the Stingray Racer, where six waterslide lanes stand five stories tall, propelling riders down a twisting and turning track. The  Thunder Run, where the inline tube slide picks up speed at every twist and turn, and the many other attractions for the entire family.
