Cast your gaze into the wild-blue-yonder and encounter the Wings Over Houston Airshow, featuring the internationally famous and awe-inspiring US Navy Blue Angels. This event provides more than five hours of thrilling aerial shows from some of the greatest military and civilian pilots. Ranked as one of the top airshows in the country, it also offers ground attractions, such as simulators, ride-and-drive opportunities, and nearly 100 static aircraft to view. There’s even a play area for kids featuring a rock-climbing wall, inflatable slides and obstacles, carnival-style games, rides, and the NASA Driven to Explore Exhibit.

Tour 18 different museums within The Houston Museum District located in downtown Houston. They all feature free admission on certain days and 11 of them have free admission all the time. There's always something exciting to see at the Wortham Theater, for it is home to the Houston Ballet, the Houston Grand Opera, and Da Camera of Houston, a group that performs chamber and jazz music. In addition, it hosts social galas, civic meetings, corporate and group events, and weddings. The Center's architectural design, designed by Eugene Aubry of Morris Aubry Architects, has been lauded as a cutting-edge study in form and function. It also houses the 2,500-seat Alice and George Brown Theater and the 1,100-seat Roy and Lillie Cullen Theater.
