Capture a moment in time at the Houston Center for Photography, where you'll find evolving exhibits by emerging and established photographers and plenty of spur-of-the-moment workshops to brush up on your photography skills. As a small visual artists organization, their gallery features some of the finest works of contemporary photography. They also offer over 300 photography classes and workshops year-round. Varying in competency levels, these classes are all taught by esteemed photographers and lecturers, including some of the masters of the medium.

Enjoy the 106 acres of family fun, where things get smoking hot at the sprawling barbecue pits and at the hottest concerts that will keep you moving. Held in May and at the Pasadena Fairgrounds, the festival is home to the World's Largest Strawberry Shortcake, Mud Volleyball, Carnival, BBQ cook-off, specialty acts, stage entertainers, a petting zoo, pony rides, racing pigs, and plenty of arts & crafts.

The Grammy Award–winning Houston Symphony has played a central role in Houston’s cultural and civic life for more than 100 years. The symphony is now one of America’s oldest performing arts organizations and the largest performing arts organization in Houston. It's always a season to remember at the Houston Symphony. Throughout the year, the institution cultivates musical appreciation for all tastes.
