Lace up your running shoes and prepare to join The Chevron Houston Marathon festival that supports many charities, including CanCare, Texas Children's Hospital, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. As the largest single-day sporting event in the city, all runners get a chance to participate in the course map that runs together with a half marathon and a 5K race, where thousands of runners and spectators get to enjoy the fun signage, clocks, bottled water, Gatorade, aid stations, and exhilarating entertainment.

Feel the thrill of ziplining as you glide through the treetops across five zip lines and three bridges. Work your way up and across a 42 ft platform as you choose between the exhilarating rush of a simulated free fall experience or a slow, controlled rappel descent. Trek through and take an optional detour through nine aerial challenges, grab a friend, and soar across the park side by side on the longest, fastest zipline at 555 feet.

Beat the heat at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, where you can enjoy fun-filled, pulse-pounding, and exhilarating thrill rides for all ages. Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be in the middle of a tornado? Take on the Tornado, one of the most popular attractions, which shoots riders down a 132-foot-long tunnel and blasts them into a giant funnel. Check out the Stingray Racer, where six waterslide lanes stand five stories tall, propelling riders down a twisting and turning track. The  Thunder Run, where the inline tube slide picks up speed at every twist and turn, and the many other attractions for the entire family.
