The festival, benefitting Jazz Education, Inc., a nonprofit organization, starts the summer with live music and a host of musicians and bands worldwide. The focus of the festival always seeks to honor the legends, the music, and the standards of tradition, shaping young minds and educating them for the future.

Climb aboard a WWII-era bomber or a flight-training plane at the Lone Star Flight Museum, where they celebrate Texas aviation and engage in educating youth through science, technology, engineering, and math. Enjoy the 130,000-square-foot museum, home to a flying collection of rare and historic commercial, general aviation, and military aircraft. Guests can experience the wonder of flight in a warbird ride and get hands-on in the high-tech Aviation Learning Center and Flight Academy. Multiple public and STEM-focused education programs create an unforgettable museum experience for visitors of all ages.

Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar has an unmatched energy where the room is always alive and pumping, and it's hard to escape the feeling of that energy that pushes you to keep singing and dancing. They are not only known for their high-energy piano show but experts at creating memories, with everything from the VIP experiences to the incredible drinks and making sure every person that walks in the room has the time of their life.

There's always something exciting to see at the Wortham Theater, for it is home to the Houston Ballet, the Houston Grand Opera, and Da Camera of Houston, a group that performs chamber and jazz music. In addition, it hosts social galas, civic meetings, corporate and group events, and weddings. The Center's architectural design, designed by Eugene Aubry of Morris Aubry Architects, has been lauded as a cutting-edge study in form and function. It also houses the 2,500-seat Alice and George Brown Theater and the 1,100-seat Roy and Lillie Cullen Theater.
