Theatre Southwest continues its passion for performance with six productions, a Festival of Originals, and monthly workshops. The entertainment venue showcases seasoned performers and break-out talent. As the theater continues to evolve and grow, it looks to lead Houston into a new era of breathtaking performances and live entertainment. Saddle up and get ready for a wild ride with rodeo champs and entertainment superstars at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, where they promote agriculture by hosting an annual, family-friendly experience that educates and entertains the public, showcases the Western heritage, and provides year-round educational support within the community. Attend the world's largest livestock show and rodeo, where the event begins with the rodeo competition, and once the dust settles, the entertainer takes the stage. Make sure to take a walk about the festival and enjoy the Bar-B-Cue Contest, Best Bites Competition, Rodeo Roundup, Rodeo Run, take on the Trail Rides, and enjoy the Wine Show and Auction.

Glenwood Cemetery is one of Houston's historic landmarks that accommodates some of the most delightful statues and impressive landscapes that rival those of many arboretums, making it the perfect place for a quiet refuge and peaceful meditation amid inspiring natural beauty. Glenwood also provides a place for families, visitors, and community members to gather and host events, such as educational seminars, and is a place to research and connect with history. Many prominent Texans from the days of the Republic until the present are buried here, and the names on the elaborately carved marble and granite will remind you of the rich heritage.
