Theatre Suburbia is an all-volunteer theater that is all-heart and all-talent and has produced a variety of plays, including classics, heavy dramas, dark comedies, light comedies, mysteries, original scripted, and children's shows. Throughout the years, they have endeavored to provide quality, live theatre to the Houston area. They try to reach as many as possible by providing unique sets seen with each show. Being a small theatre, they refer to physical limitations, not the quality of work performed. The ensemble has a growing reputation for flawless productions, with a knack for choosing challenging, lesser-known scripts that include Panic, Waiting To Be Mended, If It's Monday, and This Must Be Christmas.

Get your motor runnin' at the Art Car Parade, where the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art showcases real working cars designed to suit the owner's aesthetic, personality, and creative inspiration. Celebrate the four-day extravaganza that attracts over 250 vehicle entries, that include anything on wheels, from bicycles and unicycles to lawnmowers, cars, and go-carts from over 23 states, including Canada and Mexico. Whether the vehicles have been painted, welded, sculpted, dropped, chopped, beaded, smashed, crashed, lit, or lifted, the Art Cars come in all shapes, sizes, and forms. The only rule is that it must roll.

Your tour starts with the development of ancient Mesopotamian clay tablets, then the invention of moveable type and Gutenberg's printing press. Along the way, gain a better understanding of how newspaper accounts of major wars, the distribution of the Gutenberg Bible, the Declaration of Independence, and other pivotal documents chronicle the printing revolution and its impact on society.
