The Bayou City Art Festival is one of the top 200 iconic Arts Festivals in the world that showcases the works of several artists placed in 19 different categories at Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park in the spring and at Bayou City Art Festival Downtown in the fall. Theatre Southwest continues its passion for performance with six productions, a Festival of Originals, and monthly workshops. The entertainment venue showcases seasoned performers and break-out talent. All this creativity and activity takes a lot of work and a good amount of creative people. Enjoy your time at the Fun Plex Amusement Park, an indoor carnival featuring a towering facility that managed to put fun under one roof. Wander around and check out the playtime oasis that includes go-karts, carnival rides, a carousel, a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, movie theaters, a miniature golf course, a bowling alley, a roller skating rink, modern arcade games, a pool hall, and a play port. Concession stands with food and drink provide plenty of fuel to go all day.
