Join together to preserve and disseminate the richness of Hispanic culture, values, and civic interests with the community of Houston, and see how they provide different educational and networking activities in collaboration with local universities. The main priorities of the Institute of Hispanic Culture are education and preserving Hispanic culture and values. As such, the Institute’s committees organize activities and events to raise funds for scholarship programs.

Catch a family-friendly production at Stageworks Theatre, where the mainstage productions include, A Christmas Carol, The Drowsy Chaperone, Sylvia, Harvey, Beehive: A 60s Musical, Mamma Mia!, and more. Stageworks Theatre produces eight theatrical works like dramas, comedies, and musicals each season, reflecting the high artistic quality and cultural diversity. They strive to inspire adults, teens, and children by providing a safe and encouraging environment that fosters creativity, respect, personal growth, and character development.

Enjoy the 106 acres of family fun, where things get smoking hot at the sprawling barbecue pits and at the hottest concerts that will keep you moving. Held in May and at the Pasadena Fairgrounds, the festival is home to the World's Largest Strawberry Shortcake, Mud Volleyball, Carnival, BBQ cook-off, specialty acts, stage entertainers, a petting zoo, pony rides, racing pigs, and plenty of arts & crafts.
