Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival is the oldest independent film and video festival that has evolved over 50 years to recognize and honor outstanding creative excellence in film and video and validates brilliant abilities to promote cultural tourism for Houston. WorldFest screens only 55-60 feature film premieres, with a complete and absolute emphasis on American and International Independent feature films and a continuing annual spotlight on an individual country and its films. They also offer competition in TV production, commercials, and music videos.

Catch one of your favorite musicians or bands at the Arena Theater, a legend in Houston's music scene. As one of Houston's oldest concert venues, the Arena Theatre is notable for its arena-in-the-round style and excellent acoustics that have showcased such legendary and notable performers as Willie Nelson, BB King, Tom Jones, Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Clint Black, and Huey Lewis and the News. The intimate setting feels more like a private event than a concert venue. All seats are less than 60 feet from the stage, giving you the feeling that you are part of the show, not just a spectator. Moore Nature Sanctuary, where you can enjoy a small sanctuary that offers walking trails, birding, educational programs, and a unique look into the history of their neighborhood. Because they are a conservation property for wildlife and birds, Birders can especially enjoy 200 species of birds that have been sighted over the years and can see them feeding and resting before continuing their journey.
