Part of the 1962 World´s Fair display, the International Fountain is located in the Seattle Center. Designed to embody Seattle´s tall timber, whitewater waterfalls, fishing and history of gold rushes, this large, domed fountain is the perfect place to splash around, whether you are young or old.
Take in some of the most breathtaking sights and smells as you walk outdoors through the Woodland Park Rose Garden. The Rose Garden showcases its extensive collection of roses, hybrids, tree roses, miniatures, climbers and All-America test varieties alongside its wonderful architecture in a way that brings together natural beauty and human designs in harmony.
The Port Townsend Aero Museum began operations in 2001, founded by experienced aircraft restorers Jerry and Peggy Thoutte. With an initial donation of six flying antique aircraft and several restoration projects, the museum quickly attracted a group of dedicated young volunteers. The youth mentorship program grew alongside the collection. Check out their collection and maybe even sign up for their volunteer program.
