The Amarillo Restaurant and Tavern

Originally built in 1928 as a film and vaudeville theater, the renovated Paramount Theatre is one of Seattle´s most popular performing arts and entertainment venues. Visit the university district near the University of Washington for a wonderful day of watery fun. The UW Waterfront Activities Center offers canoe and rowboat rentals to the general public, as well as special discounts for students, alumni, faculty and staff. Spend a day on the water enjoying recreation almost any day of the week from January until November.

Learn about science, math and technology at the Pacific Science Center. This eight-building complex features several hands-on, permanent exhibits and attractions about ecology, environmental stewardship and nature awareness, as well as many traveling exhibitions. Check out the Laser Dome, the two IMAX theaters, a tropical butterfly house and a planetarium.

Ride up the Space Needle–one of the most distinctive icons in Seattle. Built for the 1962 World´s Fair, the Space Needle features an observation deck over 500 feet above the ground. While you are looking out across the cityscape, be sure to stop by the rotating SkyCity restaurant and gift shop. You can't leave the city without experiencing this attraction.
