Pick up a pamphlet from the front office and then wind your way around this gorgeous, historical resting place for all of Cheyenne’s famous, infamous and average citizens. Learn a little about the lives and histories of these people as you tour the grounds.
Head out to the Curt Gowdy State Park, located in-between Cheyenne and Laramie, for a beautiful mountain retreat. Get back in harmony with Mother Nature in this 3,400-acre park and reservoir; this nature preserve is bounding with all sorts of plant and wildlife, as well as an “Epic” trail system, granite outcroppings (perfect for climbing), and aquatic and outdoor activities.
Add a touch of class to your evening when you take your date to a performance by the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. A fairly small orchestra, this group is nevertheless one of the finest in the region. Since 1935, the symphony has sought to share the beauty of music with Cheyenne–the perfect soundtrack for a romantic night.
