Come watch the newly formed Cheyenne Stampede showcase their sports skills on the ice at the Ice and Events Center. Part of the Western States Hockey League, this Cheyenne-based hockey team is Wyoming’s newest Jr. A team and has recruited players from all over the state to take on (and take down) opponents from New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, California and Arizona.
Wyoming is brimming with beautiful natural attractions, including parks and gardens, and the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens in the Capital City is at the forefront. These inspirational gardens consist of three greenhouses in a 6,800-foot conservatory, themed gardens, specialized landscapes, a Children’s Village and an associated arboretum. Immerse yourself in the glory of Mother Nature at this award-winning botanical garden!

Get active outdoors along the Dry Creek Parkway, a wide but linear park with an expansive bike trail and disc golf (also known as Frisbee golf) course. Like the Greater Cheyenne Greenway, this park’s trails are expanding and growing in popularity. Walk, play and explore the area following the creek, which forms a few lakes and ponds along the way.
