The Historic Governors’ Mansion provided residence for Wyoming’s governor from 1905 until 1976. This historic landmark and attraction is currently operating as a house museum, with rooms displaying decorations and artifacts from the 1905, 1937, 1955 and 1960s eras. Connecting the city together is the amazing Greater Cheyenne Greenway. More than just a 32-mile-long sidewalk, this 10-foot-wide reinforced concrete path is a monumental achievement and a key component in Cheyenne’s non-motorized transportation system. Walk, run, jog, bike or even skate through neighborhoods, parks and urban centers on this highly accessible outdoor path system.

Based on a fundraising project by the Cheyenne Depot Museum Foundation, this impressive decorative footwear can be seen in front of and inside the Cheyenne Depot Museum Complex as well as several businesses and organizations.

Military and history buffs alike will be fascinated by the F. E. Warren AFB Intercontinental Ballistic Missile and Heritage Museum located on the Warren Air Force Base. Originally established by the army as Fort David Allen Russell in 1867, Warren is known as the oldest continuously active military installation within the Air Force. The on-base museum showcases the history of missiles and the lives of men and women who were stationed here.
