BoxDrop Montgomery

There's art that was probably inspired by something miles away, and then there's the kind of art that speaks to you because it hits close to home. That is what the works of art stir up in the many patrons who frequent SAC's Gallery. This is a cooperative gallery that prominently features the work of local artists. Sac's is sponsored by the Society of Arts and Crafts of Montgomery. Founded in 1979, it is located in the city's historic Mulberry District.

Lake Martin is located in the central part of Alabama. It is an impressive 39,180-acre lake that is popular for swimming, fishing, water skiing, camping and other recreation. Boating access and marinas are numerous as to make access easier for boaters and other aquatic thrill seekers.

The calm soothing sound of the water rippling along and the birds chirping in the background as the trees rustle isn't a nature lover's dream. It is actually a reality when you visit Coosa River in Montgomery. Even though the river begins in Tennessee before entering Alabama at Weiss Lake, the Coosa River meets the Tallapoosa River to form the Alabama River. Aside from great fishing and kayaking, the river is a great place to just sit outdoors and enjoy one of the area's most beautiful natural treasures.
