Retrace the steps of some of our nation's bravest and most fervent believers in equal rights when you find your way on the Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail. This trail was indeed blazed by those seeking equal voting rights as well as other civil rights issues. The trail was established by Congress in 1996 to commemorate the people, events and route of the 1965 Voting Rights march in Alabama.
