The Cloverdale is Montgomery's only entertainment venue that celebrates the art of community theater. In addition to a regular schedule of productions, the Cloverdale Playhouse also stages various children's theater productions as well as various other forms of performing arts.

The Alabama National Fair is not only a fun event held every fall, but also it has a higher purpose. The event's objective is to raise funds to support children and youth charities throughout central Alabama and the aid is distributed through the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery.
