The Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts is a center for professional and community artistry in downtown Jacksonville. A cornerstone of the downtown area, this beautiful three-venue facility is committed to supporting a wide range of entertainment experiences at the highest level of professionalism.

It's a real scene at the annual Jacksonville Jazz Festival every May, where some of the greatest regional and national jazz acts get together for memorable jams. Multiple stages, plus the Wine Down Tasting Experience and the Art in the Heart Downtown juried art show happen at the same time.

An amazing animal sanctuary awaits you at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. The animal preserve sits on 110 acres at the mouth of the Trout River and is home to exhibits and attractions that display more than 2,000 exotic animals and 1,500 plant species.
