When frost is in the air, bundle up and head over to the Motown Winter Blast in Campus Martius Park. This festival features very, very cool events and fun activities for the whole family. Catch a concert at the Magic Stick, one of the top live music and nightlife venues in the city. Part of the Majestic Theater Center, the Magic Stick offers a distinct and unique experience. This nightlife favorite and neighborhood corner bar is a prominent community presence, drawing in the crowds almost every night with its sturdy mahogany bar, well-stocked jukebox, daily drink specials and punk rock bingo. Located in the Hitsville U.S.A. building, this unique museum displays costumes, photos and records from Motown's successful era and shares the legacy of the record label, its artists and its music.
