True to its name, the theater presents entertainment that explores the many different histories that make up Saint Paul’s diverse community. For more than 30 years, History Theatre has produced more than 100 world premieres by national playwrights such as Craig Wright, Frank McCourt, Doris Baizley and others.

If you love either sports or music, chances are good that the Xcel Energy Center will be hosting a performance you won’t want to miss. This multipurpose arena offers four spectator levels and can seat approximately 18,000. This popular venue is home to the NHL’s Minnesota Wild and the NLL’s Minnesota Swarm, as well as a regular host for nationally popular musical artists and other entertainment attractions.

Come by the Chatterbox Pub in Saint Paul on Wednesday and Sunday nights to sing your heart out. This cozy corner nightlife lounge dusts off the karaoke machine for its customers at night, and their drink specials and local microbrew drafts keep the customers singing along with all their favorite tunes. Church members and visitors alike are welcome to visit the Cathedral of Saint Paul. This National Shrine of the Apostle Paul is one of the most distinctive cathedrals in the United States, and is dedicated to the saint after which the city of Saint Paul is named. Constructed in 1904 by the chief architect of the St. Louis World’s Fair, this distinctive cathedral features beautiful art and architectural designs.
