Como Park is home to many things: the Como Park Zoo, the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, Como Town, Como Lake and Como Golf Course. This short, hilly golf course is a fair test for average golfers, with rolling, well-bunkered greens, water hazards and elevation changes. The sporty course is a full 18-hole regulation, although the front and back nines were built during different decades.
Eagle Valley Golf Course prides themselves on presenting a golf course of the highest standards: aesthetically pleasing and properly challenging. Each hole presents a unique challenge that will test your golf skills, through narrow, tree-lined fairways, sharp dog-legs and multiple bunkers and water hazards, deceptively short or elevated greens.
Sneak in a quick game at the Highland 9-Hole Golf Course. This short but challenging course is currently undergoing renovations, so check for availability before you go. Large greens and tree-lined fairways provide difficult elements to this fun course, which will require you to use almost every club in your bag.
Enjoy your next game of golf at the Highland National Golf Course, Saint Paul’s upscale municipal course. Recently renovated with a more challenging layout, Highland National is designed after the traditional 18-hole regulation courses. A favorite feature is the Highland’s signature 15th hole, featuring a large, "Snoopy"-Shaped bunker.
Make some time to show off your skills when you visit Lake Phalen. The nearby Phalen Golf Course stretches its 18-holes along the beautiful lake. This 70 par course is fairly easy in the front nines, although several holes in the back nines present difficulties. Be on the lookout for several doglegs, bunkers and, of course, water hazards.
Tee-off at one of the Twin Cities’ premier public golf courses at Prestwick Golf Club. Choose to golf either 9 or 18 holes at this par 72 championship course, or use the practice facility to work on your drive. As you golf on this course, you can also feel good knowing that the beautiful landscape is also extremely eco-friendly, as recognized by the National Audubon Society.
