Fans of model railroads will not want to miss the Twin City Model Railroad Museum, home of the world famous O-Scale exhibit. Thousands of volunteer hours have been dedicated to faithfully reproducing the entire Twin Cities’ railroad system from the 1930s-1950s in O-Scale. In addition to this impressive model, the museum hosts other traveling exhibits, a toy train division and other special events.

Come by the Chatterbox Pub in Saint Paul on Wednesday and Sunday nights to sing your heart out. If you love either sports or music, chances are good that the Xcel Energy Center will be hosting a performance you won’t want to miss. This multipurpose arena offers four spectator levels and can seat approximately 18,000. This popular venue is home to the NHL’s Minnesota Wild and the NLL’s Minnesota Swarm, as well as a regular host for nationally popular musical artists and other entertainment attractions.

Saint Paul’s oldest surviving theater, the Fitzgerald Theater has been around since 1910. Once famous for screening foreign films, nowadays Minnesota Public Radio owns the Fitz. You may be familiar with their most popular show, A Prairie Home Companion, which is heard all over the nation. In addition to this radio show, the Fitz hosts all sorts of Broadway musicals, vaudeville shows, film festivals, concerts, and other entertainment.
