Good Samaritan Society - Bismarck

Each fall, the Downtowners produce an arts, craft, and food show called Street Fair. This event was created by the Downtowners in 1973 as “Customer Appreciation Days” then grew into a full blown Street Fair and is now in its 51st year. Arts, craft, and food vendors will once again line the streets of Downtown Bismarck during September.

Located just a few miles from the city, Lake Sakakawea is a popular destination for lovers of water sports. The expansive body of water stretches out over seventy miles and is the perfect place to enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing, water skiing and jet skiing.

There are several opportunities for the whole family to make a big splash when you venture out to Bismarck's Super Slide Amusement Park. Race down the super slide, chase each other around in bumper cars, go for a spin around the carousel, or take a whack at a baseball in the batting cages.

Great performances don't just happen. Lots of intense practice, planning, rehearsal, and effort have to be put forth in order to ensure that the absolute best entertainment makes it to the stage for audiences to enjoy. That is the philosophy of the staff at the Belle Mehus Auditorium. Whether it is a sweeping classical performance, an engaging dramatic comedy or one of today's latest musical acts, they can all rest assured that the show will go on in the best possible way when it takes place on Bismarck's Belle Mehus Auditorium stage.
