The Amarillo Farm and Ranch Show takes place every fall at the Amarillo Civic Center and features over 450 companies showcasing the latest agricultural equipment and the newest information through special presentations, workshops and seminars. Nearly 30,000 attendees from the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles attend the show, along with visitors from New Mexico, Colorado and Kansas. Everyone from farmers to ranch workers to businessmen who deal with farming and everything that goes with it, make it a point to be in Amarillo for this show.

The Don Harrington Discovery Center is more than just a museum. It's an interactive playground where kids (and adults) can engage in various exhibits. This attraction features several specialized areas for the younger visitors, including a new preschoolers gallery that is designed exclusively for children 6 years old and younger.
