The National United States Armed Forces Museum educates and memorializes the heroic sacrifices and valiant efforts of soldiers who fought to keep our nation free. The museum displays rare collections and preservations of historical military artifacts, historical research, education, and the presentation of the public of the museum's collection. They wish to expand knowledge, deepen awareness, and provide a greater appreciation, to both visitors and residents, of the dedication and sacrifice of citizens in those in defense of liberty.

Levy Park is a vibrant urban space located in the heart of the Upper Kirby District of Houston. The park’s design features beautiful landscaping, activity areas, a dog park, a community garden, and a Children’s Park. The grounds are free, year-round passive and active programming in wellness, the arts, education, and recreation. Let your hair down and enjoy sand volleyball and pickleball at Bumpy Pickle, where you can enjoy five well-lit, regulation-size sand volleyball courts and nine pickleball courts. It’s a great place to unwind with friends and coworkers or even on an adventurous date. Bumpy Pickle offers a lip-smacking menu ranging from tacos to full-blown entrees. They even have something special for the kiddos. And you can bet they did not forget the sweet tooth, dessert-loving bunch.

Grab some cold water, ice cream, and milk and get ready as you boldly go where many have dared to go, the Hops N Hot Sauce Festival, where hot sauces, salsas, peppers, spices, chili mixes, wing sauces, and all things hot and mild are waiting for you to taste. Participate in the Hot Pepper Eating Contest, enjoy the free photo booth, taste samples of spicy foods, drink fresh craft beer, enter the Pickle Eating Contest, and enjoy free giveaways and free face painting fun.
