For experienced and novice photographers alike, FOTOSEPTIEMBRE celebrates photography and photographic art every September. Started in San Antonio, FOTOSEPTIEMBRE showcases photography and photographic artwork from around the world. Exhibits are located not only in San Antonio but in cities around the country.

As you stroll through the grounds you’ll see the Clawed Otters, Black Mambas, Blue Headed Macaws, Fennec Foxes, Grey Wolves, Jaguars, Spotted Hyenas, and snakes galore, all unique in their own ways. Stop by Two Rivers Mining, Co., the Zoo’s very own gemstone mine for an incredible opportunity to pan for gemstones, fossils, crystals, and shark teeth!
