Take part in a dynamic experience as you learn about stars, planets, black holes, and distant galaxies at the Planetarium - The Scobee Education Center at San Antonio College. Every Friday night, the planetarium opens to the public, so they get a chance to stargaze and see digitally-created images of stars, planets, and galaxies fill the night sky. Housed atop the iconic blue Charles E. Cheever, Jr. Star Tower, the Scalan Observatory houses a 10-inch refractor telescope and features a 360-degree rotating dome and panel that opens 90 degrees, enabling stargazing in any direction.
Get ready for a unique nightlife experience at Howl at the Moon, where you can sing, dance, and howl as the most versatile and talented musicians perform your favorite songs from 80’s rock, 90’s pop, and dance hits on pianos, guitars, and more in a high-energy show. Celebrate special occasions, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, bachelor parties, and corporate events, or have an entertaining night out.
Join the many festivals and events that Culinaria hosts that showcase the Texas experience that has been cultivated for centuries and interwoven into the rich cultural heritage of San Antonio. Culinaria promotes locally sourced food and wine experiences in the region through community events and culinary education opportunities, including Restaurant Weeks, a 5K run, a festival, and many others.
