For more than 75 years, The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center has been a beacon and home for Latino, Chicano and Native American Performing Arts and Entertainment for San Antonio and the world. The beautiful and historic Guadalupe Theater opened its doors in 1942 and since then has embodied and become the heart and hub of film screenings, theater arts, music concerts, dance performances, variety shows, and special events showcasing regional, national and international Latin American culture on all possible levels. With its Mission Revival and art-deco architectural design, the historic 400-seat theater continues to shine as the jewel of San Antonio’s Westside.
