Where could middle school orchestra students make music with Yo-Yo Ma, the child prodigy American cellist? It’s made possible by the ARTS San Antonio, where San Antonians are joined with world-class artists through entertainment, enrichment, and education.

Reaching over 10,000 students annually, their ARTSTEACH program educates, by involving children of all ages to learn and enrich themselves through music, theatre, dance, and visual arts. About one-third of students were able to attend using their donor-funded tickets.

"Think inside the box" is something you don't hear every day and yet it is the guiding principle of the magnificent and insightful performances that await you at the the Sheldon Vexler Theatre, a state-of-the-art critically-acclaimed black box theatre.

Woodlawn Theatre is located in the heart of the Deco District and was best known as a venue of esteem and prestige when it opened its doors in 1946. The legendary Academy-Award winner John Wayne hosted the world premiere of his movie, The Alamo in 1960.
