Skydive Temple Skydive Temple

Skydive Temple gives you the ultimate thrill of a lifetime from 2 miles high in the air. With Tamdem skydiving you will parachute from the airplane to the drop zone, securely attached to an experienced and licensed instructor, and enjoy your awesome adventure of flying the blue skies. Your instructor will do all the work for you.  Remember to ask about video and still pictures to capture your ultlimate thrill of a lifetime. The snack bar is available on weekends, or you can take your own food and spirits for after your jump. There is plenty of Shiner Bock available when you are done! They are the only Drop Zone in Texas owned and operated by a National Skydiving Champion with 40+ years of skydiving experience. They are also the official training facility for the Texas National Guard Parachute Demonstration Team.

Homestead Fair Homestead Fair

One of Waco's most popular events is packed with tradition. The Homestead Fair held every November features fine arts and heirloom skills, and always boasts a full itinerary of fun activities like boot making, woodworking, pottery, metal casting and basket making, among many other demonstrations. Live music, great food, and a celebration of the various cultures in the area all make for a fun family festival event.
