Pig Out in the Park is an annual festival held in Spokane's Riverfront Park every Labor Day Weekend. It is actually a five day event that signals the end of summer with lots of great live music, fun, and dozens of appetizing food booths. The event has been a Spokane tradition for over 25 years. So bring the family, friends and your appetite, as Pig Out in the Park usually serves over 200,000 plates of food, desserts, and other tasty treats throughout the course of this very popular event.

Travel back to the late 19th century to relive some of Spokane's colorful past when you visit Browne's Addition Historic District. These prairie-Victorian mansions, appealing bungalows and prairie-style homes make this one of the most popular areas of town for visitors and history buffs. The neighborhood is easy to get to by taking Second Avenue west from downtown. Some of the popular sites include Patsy Clarke's Mansion, which is one of the city's most popular inns. Also, don't miss the Glover Mansion, the home of Spokane's founder. This popular attraction is rightfully listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
