Basketball lovers in Spokane (and from around the world) hoop it up every last weekend in June for Hoopfest. This fun and highly anticipated festival was established in 1989 and is the largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the world. Participants can range from everyone from kids to NBA players. The event attracts more than 40,000 people every year.

The Spokane Civic Theatre boasts an impressive vintage. Originally constructed in the late 1940s, the venue still offers some of the city's most respected theatrical productions that include critically lauded comedies, musicals, and dramas. Every season is filled with must-see performances and entertainment, so make sure you get your tickets early. The theater also features two main seating areas.
