Pig Out in the Park is an annual festival held in Spokane's Riverfront Park every Labor Day Weekend. It is actually a five day event that signals the end of summer with lots of great live music, fun, and dozens of appetizing food booths. The event has been a Spokane tradition for over 25 years. So bring the family, friends and your appetite, as Pig Out in the Park usually serves over 200,000 plates of food, desserts, and other tasty treats throughout the course of this very popular event.

This picturesque hike and bike trail begins in Idaho and runs all the way through the bike-friendly city of Spokane and then continues on to Riverside State Park. The Spokane Chiefs are a major junior ice hockey team that plays in the Western Hockey League. Its home games take place in the Spokane Arena. The sports team consistently ranks in the top 10 of Canadian Hockey League attendance, as their devoted fan base only continues to grow with each season. The Chiefs are no strangers to victory, either, as they have won the Memorial Cup in 1991 and 2008.
