Not in the mood for a musical? Milwaukee Chamber Theatre produces five first-rate, thought-provoking dramas of literary merit each season. Chamber Theatre operates out of the Broadway Theatre Center, which offers two entertainment spaces: Cabot Theatre, which seats 360 audience members, and Studio Theatre, which seats 99.

A small museum located on the campus of Marquette University, Haggerty Museum of Art has some of the finest Old Master paintings in Wisconsin. The collection numbers more than 4,500 works, including pieces by Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol. This free museum houses both permanent and traveling exhibits and attractions.
Continue the long tradition of the Wisconsin State Fair by joining in on the eleven-day festivities in West Allis, right outside of the Milwaukee city limits. Since 1851, this festival has drawn in vendors and citizens from all across the state. Yearly venues include regional and national bands, carnival rides, specialty vendors, agricultural exhibits and a variety of food and drink, including the popular cream puffs.
