Not all Milwaukee festivals occur during the summer. Party for four weekends after Labor Day at the Bavarian Inn's annual Oktoberfest, the oldest and most authentic Oktoberfest in the Midwest. Enjoy delicious food and local brews, as well as music, dancing and live performances.

The entertainment venue continues its century long tradition by presenting approximately one hundred music, dance, comedy, opera and theater events each year. Stop by on Friday's for Fish Fry & Flick, a chance to enjoy a free movie on an outdoor screen.

Visit Milwaukee's original brew pub on Water Street! Water Street Brewery is built on providing bar goers with a continuous variety of award-winning traditional and specialty home brews, as well as beers from local, regional, national and international breweries - and of course, nightlife fun. Enjoy your brew with an appetizer, sandwich or nightly entrée special. Stop by earlier on the weekends for brunch.

Visit the Boerner Botanical Gardens from late April to early November. The internationally renown horticultural center offers eleven specialty outdoor gardens, including the cutting edge Trial Garden which features newly developed plant varieties not publicly available anywhere else. Take a tour and admire the beautiful arrangement integration of architecture and sculptures among the plant life.
