A not-for-profit organization, the Pettit National Ice Center offers public skating as well as lessons in figure skating, hockey and speed skating, as well as the only indoor run/walk track with a Zamboni Crossing sign. This center is an official US Olympic Training Site, and the only indoor sea-level oval in the US available to our country's athletes.

A small museum located on the campus of Marquette University, Haggerty Museum of Art has some of the finest Old Master paintings in Wisconsin. The collection numbers more than 4,500 works, including pieces by Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol. This free museum houses both permanent and traveling exhibits and attractions.
Music lovers must make it out to the annual Summerfest, an eleven-day mega festival filled with music, shows and food. Eleven stages fill the Henry Maier Festival Park and feature more than 700 bands, including some of the biggest names in the music world. The largest music festival in the world, drawing in over one million people annually, concludes with an enormous fireworks demonstration.
